About

Sandra Larsen is a Natural Health Educator, mental health advocate, and personal trainer (NASM) with a focus in somatic practices for mental health self-care. She brings a wealth of knowledge in polyvagal-informed and trauma-sensitive strategies and has coined the term Innercises™ to describe her work.

As both a student and practitioner of the healing arts, Sandra has accrued decades of experience and training in the healing arts. Sandra's passion lies in helping others return to a joyful presence through simple yet powerful tools.

Drawing from the works of renowned experts such as Peter Levine, Stephen Porges, Dr Gabor Mate and David Berceli, Sandra’s clients learn therapeutic exercises and innercises strategies to address and resolve the physiological roots of trauma and stress. She teaches trauma-informed techniques that release deeply held patterns, thereby increasing resilience and activating inner resources and heart-centered methods such as HeartMath®.

Sandra's diverse background includes years as a licensed massage therapist, teaching Pilates (BASI), and working in integrative pain rehabilitation clinics, where she taught Pilates, Gyrotonics, TRE® and Nutrition as a Wellness Instructor and Physical Therapist Aide.
Her formal education in horticulture (biodynamic permaculture) and as a Master Herbalist. Sandra's thirst for learning is unquenchable. When not in the service of others, she can be found connecting with nature, whether on the beach or hiking in the redwood forests of the Santa Cruz Mountains, or traveling and teaching workshops to share her knowledge and inspire others on their journey to wellness and resilience.
